About Michael Corvino

Originally from Walla Walla, Washington, Executive Chef Michael Corvino was lured into the culinary world when his passion for this industry and for food was recognized at an early age. After working for several restaurants, he landed a position at the Marcus Whitman Hotel where his love of working in a large-scale kitchen began. He continued with his career at exclusive restaurants and hotels such as the Peninsula Hotel, the Ritz Carlton Resorts, The Nines and the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. Over the years, Michael worked under influential leaders of the culinary profession who helped him identity his style and expand his culinary knowledge. After moving to Naples, FL, Michael was appointed Executive Sous Chef of the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, TX prior to his current promotion at The American Restaurant. Over a decade of five-star hospitality experience and a passion for taking diners on a culinary journey have contributed to Chef Corvino’s development of his signature, flavorful cuisine. “Chef Corvino is a vibrant young chef whose focus of giving guests a luxury product, a modern-elegance style of dining makes him a perfect fit for our restaurant.
